School Teacher Here On Work Visa Charged With Selling Meth In NC

FAYETTEVILLE, NC - On Friday, police arrested Antonisha Chambers, 34, and Bradford Gordon, 29, at their residence in the 2500 block of Cumberland Creek Drive on drug trafficking charges.

A search of their apartment turned up more than four pounds of methamphetamine, according to a police report.

Chambers, who is in the U.S. on a visa, is employed as a first-grade teacher at E. Melvin Honeycutt Elementary School.

Both Chambers and Gordon are each charged with trafficking by possession, trafficking by transport, maintaining dwelling for the purposes of narcotics, and conspiracy.

Chambers was given bond and released the same day.

Gordon, who is also in the U.S. on a visa, is currently being held on $75,000 bond at the Cumberland County Jail.

*Both came to this country from Nigeria, according to a police source.
