Media Blackout: Illegal Alien Charged With Beheading Woman In Minnesota

SHAKOPEE, MN - On October 25, Alexis Saborit, 42, appeared in court for a preliminary hearing after a grand jury indicted him for the grisly murder of his girlfriend.

On July 28, 2021, police responded to calls that a headless body was lying near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Spencer Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 55-year-old America Thayer. Her severed head was lying next to a vehicle.

Thayer told Saborit that she wanted to break up with him, he became angry and decapitated her with a machete inside the car, according to court documents.

A witness actually recorded Saborit pushing her body out of the car, and then tossing her head by the hair.

Saborit has been charged with second-degree murder, and is currently being held at the Scott County Jail on $4 million bail.

He does not have an ICE hold.

At his initial court appearance, the illegal alien, through a Spanish-language interpreter, proclaimed “I’m innocent. It was self-defense.”

He is next due in court on December 13.

If convicted, Saborit could face life in prison.

*Saborit is certainly no stranger to law enforcement.

In fact, on the very day he reportedly decapitated his girlfriend, he was scheduled to appear in court on charges of arson, damage to property and interfering with a police officer.

In 2017, Saborit was convicted of gross misdemeanour domestic assault.

In August, The Alpha News reported:

'Alexis Saborit-Viltres, 42, is a citizen of Cuba who is unlawfully present in the United States. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has not placed a detainer on Saborit-Viltres following his recent arrest for second-degree murder in Shakopee, Minnesota,' ICE spokesperson Shawn Neudauer told Alpha News.

So, why no ICE hold?

In 2012, ICE attempted to deport Saborit, following convictions in Minnesota and Louisiana for domestic abuse, DUI, and fleeing a police officer.

However, his home country of Cuba would not accept him. So, Saborit was simply released on a federal order of supervision.

While this unspeakable crime was reported locally, not one media outlet, other than The Alpha News reported the fact that this career criminal, seen on video tossing his girlfriend’s severed head from his vehicle is here illegally.
