PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, VA – On Thursday night, guards at the Riverside Regional Jail reportedly released Juan Pelaez-Marroquin, 20, by mistake, and authorities are still looking for him at this time.

Riverside Regional Jail authorities reported that an inmate was mistakenly released when he provided false information to their staff, according to a news release from Prince George County Police. A search of the immediate area for Juan Pelaez-Marroquin met with negative results.
The Mexican national was awaiting sentencing after he was convicted on two charges of forcible sodomy.
Pelaez-Marroquin is 5'9'' with brown eyes, with brown hair, weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray shorts, and black velcro jail issues tennis shoes.
