Illegal Alien Leads Cops On 100 MPH Chase In Stolen Car

JOHNSTON COUNTY, NC - On Sunday, deputies arrested Christian Castillo, 21, following a high speed chase, that spanned over two counties and reached speeds of more than100 miles per hour. The pursuit began when a Johnston County deputy attempted to stop a vehicle reportedly traveling 80 mph on Highway 42.


Castillo refused to pull over and the chase began, with multiple agencies in pursuit, according to a police report.


The Johnston County Reported stated:


The driver nearly struck a car head on during the pursuit while passing illegally. Deputies noticed the driver was also tossing zip lock bags out the window during the chase.The pursuit entered the Fuquay Varina city limits where the driver lost control and overturned on Highway 55.
Emergency personnel responded and removed the driver from the overturned vehicle. Christian Castillo of Raleigh was evaluated by EMS at the scene before he was transported to the Johnston County Jail.

The vehicle was reportedly stolen in Washington state, while the license plate had been stolen inside Johnston County.


Castillo has been charged with fleeing to elude arrest, two counts of possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, speeding, driving on a revoked license and reckless driving. He is currently being held at the Johnston County Jail on $85,000 bond.
