Name: Mario Alberto Gomez-Saldana
Age: 27 Date of Arrest: 04/07/2023
Location: Mecklenburg County Charge(s): Four Counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child, Two Counts of First-Degree Sex Offense with a Child
In May 2018, Gomez-Saldana won $100,000 on a Mega Cash scratch-off ticket, he bought at the Circle K store on Lawyers Road in Charlotte.
In a news release, the North Carolina Lottery stated:
Gomez Saldana claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After required state and federal tax withholdings, he took home $70,507. Besides his trip, he plans to take the summer off.
However, one might say that the illegal alien actually "won the lottery" twice, as he was also arrested for molesting a child in May 2021, and after only spending three days in jail, Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden released him on bond, ignoring the ICE detainer request.
Since taking office, Sheriff Garry McFadden has made it official policy, not to cooperate with U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), by not allowing MCSO deputies to inquire into any suspect's immigration status, nor will the sheriff honor ICE detainers.
So, accused rapists, child molesters, car thieves, drunk drivers, etc., in this country illegally are being released back onto the streets of Mecklenburg County, if they make bail. Sheriff McFadden refuses to release any information on the number of illegal aliens who actually show up for their court dates after being released, but the number is said to be less than 10 percent, according to court insiders.
Of course, the more serious the nature of the charge, the less likely prosecutors are to ever see the suspect again, at least until he or she commits another crime.
McFadden has even released at least one illegal alien homicide suspect.

He should be using his ill-gotten money for a lawyer. That sheriff belongs behind bars!
