Illegal Alien Alien Charged With Third DUI, After Fatal Crash In 'Sanctuary City'

LAS VEGAS, NV – On Sunday, police arrested Osmany Fernandez-Martinez, 48, after he ran a stop sign at the intersection of Lamb Boulevard and Wyoming Avenue and crashed his vehicle into another.

The driver of the other car, who has been identified as 49-year-old Jose German was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

According to the arrest report, witnesses told police Fernandez-Martinez was “driving reckless” and an officer observed he had “bloodshot watery” eyes. Fernandez-Martinez told the officer that he hadn’t had a drink in three days, he was just tired. However, the report states that he admitted he was “driving with excessive speed.”

Fernandez-Martinez has been charged with felony DUI, and is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center on $20,000 bail.

*The illegal alien has a history of driving drunk, as he has two prior DUI convictions (March 2015 and December 2019).

Of course, Las Vegas has long-employed a 'sanctuary' policy for illegal aliens, as such, local authorities failed to report Fernandez-Martinez to ICE for deportation.
