Guilty: Illegal Alien Repeatedly Raped Preteen And Six-Year-Old Girls

MISSION, TX – On Monday, Jose Javier Rodriguez, 30, appeared in Hidalgo County District Court, where Judge Rose Guerra Reyna sentenced him to 30 years in prison. The sentence was the result of a deal worked out between his defense attorney and Hidalgo County District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez Jr.


In exchange for pleading guilty to the continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14 and one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child (victim was 6-years-old), the DA agreed to drop more than a dozen other charges against Rodriguez, which included possession of child pornography.


The offenses occurred between 2017-2019, according to court documents.


The sexual assaults took place in both McAllen and Mission, and the investigation was assisted by he Children’s Advocacy Center of Hidalgo County.


Rodriguez, who is not not eligible for parole, was originally charged with 15 counts of aggravated child sexual assault, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, indecency w/child—sexual contact and possession of child pornography.
