Convicted Child Killer Caught Re-Entering Country Illegally

SASABE, AZ - U.S. Border Patrol agents working out of the Tucson station, have apprehended Guatemalan national, Medalia Morales-Vasquez, who killed her own child in 2009.

In 2009, the illegal alien was convicted of aggravated manslaughter of a child in Lee County, Florida. She was subsequently deported back to Guatemala once her sentence was completed.

Morales-Vasquez is currently in federal custody, facing several charges, including felony re-entry and illegal re-entry after being removed for committing an aggravated felony. If convicted, she could face up to 20 years in federal prison.
